William Phung, our esteemed Credit Manager, is one such individual who has illuminated our path with five years of unwavering dedication at Lendhub.
Will's journey at Lendhub began as a Case Manager, a role that requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence. After quickly establishing himself as an invaluable asset to our team, he exhibited traits that would come to define his career – diligence, expertise, and a genuine passion for property finance.
We asked Will what drew him to apply for a job at Lendhub, he replied “I was moved by the drive and passion displayed by Chris, Lendhub CEO and Founder, and Prod, Director. They had a clear vision in wanting to push Lendhub to new heights in the world of property finance, and it’s been a pleasure to have joined them on that exact journey over the last five years”.
Reflecting on his time at Lendhub since he first joined, Will shared with us that the fundamental culture remains unchanged. He enjoys the fact that Lendhub embodies a culture driven by a passion for excellence and a shared vision of success. “Externally, though, the changes are noticeable”. He continues to say, “Lendhub has grown both in team size and in the quality of its offices. These changes are a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire Lendhub family and exemplify the impressive growth the company has accomplished in just a few years”.
Where does Will see himself in the next five years? "The possibilities are endless", he says. His journey from Case Manager to Credit Manager is a testament to his dedication and the opportunities that await those who work hard and dream big. Compared to five years ago, Will has learned and grown immensely. His commitment to learning and contributing to the team's goals wherever needed will undoubtedly continue to drive success.

1. When you have time off, what is your favourite thing to do?
I generally love being outdoors so an adventure hiking/cycling across anywhere with good views is great.
2. What’s the most recent TV show you watched and what did you think of it?
The Last Dance – it was great to get an insight into the mindset and hard work of a legendary basketball team.
3. Do you have any unique collections or items you’re proud to own?
I have some childhood gems sealed and boxed away: retro consoles, video games, special edition marvel comics, and a complete set of Pokémon cards.
4. If you could time travel to any era for a day, which one would he choose and why?
Definitely the Jurassic period to see some dinosaurs … conditional on me not being dinner!
5. Have you ever met a celebrity, and if so, what was the encounter like?
I was fortunate enough to be a Wimbledon ball boy back in the day, so I had the special opportunity to meet and be on court with some of the GOATS: Federer, Nadal, and Djokovic. I loved it! It was also fun dodging the occasional, super-fast serve heading my way.
